Terms of Service

Save My Day is an AI-powered experience recommendation app that suggests real-world places and activities in the cities it covers, based on your personal preferences, current weather, and time of day. Recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational and entertainment purposes only.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Save My Day. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Save My Day offers both a free tier and a premium subscription plan. The free tier includes limited access to certain features (e.g. 15 saved places). The premium plan provides expanded limits and additional features.

We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice.

Subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Refund requests must be directed to the respective store. We do not process payments directly.

Recommendations in Save My Day are generated entirely by artificial intelligence. They are not curated, fact-checked, or verified by humans before being shown to you.

The AI may produce recommendations that are:

• Factually incorrect, including wrong names, wrong addresses, or venues that do not exist
• Out of date: opening hours, prices, menus, and availability change frequently and the AI has no live access to this information
• Closed or permanently shut: a recommended place may have closed since the AI's training data was compiled
• Unsuitable for your specific needs: despite your stated preferences, recommendations may not meet accessibility, dietary, family, or other requirements

You must independently verify all information, including opening hours, location, admission prices, and current availability, before travelling to any place recommended by the app. We strongly recommend checking the venue's own website, Google Maps, or calling ahead.

Save My Day accepts no responsibility for:

• Wasted travel time or costs incurred because a recommended place was closed, cancelled, or did not exist
• Injury, loss, or harm of any kind suffered at a venue reached via the app's recommendations
• Decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content
• Errors, omissions, or hallucinations in AI output

By using Save My Day you acknowledge that AI recommendations are a starting point for your own research, not a substitute for it.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the app
• Misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure
• Share your account with others
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

All content, design, code, and AI-generated output within Save My Day is the property of SaveMyDay Studio or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our prior written consent.

AI-generated illustrations: Certain decorative illustrations in the app (such as the hero card background on the home screen) are generated using artificial intelligence. These are artistic illustrations, not photographs. They do not depict real locations or real people and are clearly labelled as illustrations within the app.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Before deletion, you will be offered the option to download your data, including:

• Your saved places
• Your plans and preferences
• Your account information

This data is provided in a machine-readable JSON format for portability. Once you confirm deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data (with user ID removed) may be retained.

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. You may also request a data export at any time without deleting your account, from the Profile screen or by emailing privacy@savemyday-app.com.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SaveMyDay Studio and its operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of time, loss of enjoyment, transport costs, disappointment, or any other costs incurred as a result of following AI-generated recommendations.

This expressly includes, but is not limited to, any loss arising because:

• A recommended venue was closed, cancelled, or did not exist
• AI-generated information was inaccurate, outdated, or hallucinated
• The app was unavailable or malfunctioned

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €10, whichever is greater.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
